Gulf Times – Qatar’s top-selling English daily newspaper - Sport Nayanthara … courts trouble By Ashraf Padanna THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A Kerala court has ordered police to register a case against actress Nayanthara for appearing in semi nude in posters of Tamil film Aegan, which was released last week. Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate S Gopalakrishnan also asked the police to book the film’s producer, director and the owner of a theatre in Thiruvananthapuram where the film was running to packed houses. The Kerala-born actress, popular in the whole of South India, has a huge fan following here. Her latest Malayalam flick Twenty:20, in which several big actors including Mammootty and Mohanlal appear, is set for release later this month. “The posters are meant for voyeuristic pleasure of the viewers and it’s akin to nudity in public place,” said lawyer Neyyattinkara P Nagaraj, who moved the court against the posters. “Moreover, the posters contained no seal of appro...
